Comment on this post and I will give you 5 subjects/things I associate you with. Then post this in your LJ and elaborate on the subjects given.
(I shall add that I could also pick some of your LJ interests or random topics, so feel free to comment even if we don't know each other that well!)
Meanwhile, livii gave me the following topics that she associates with me: "drawing/art", "gin", "yummy bits of food", "good-looking men", "your amazing ability to predict even the most insane of plot twists".
So in the interests of making my posts more diverse
I've elected to give my responses in verse...
It's odd that people now think of me as being good at art
Because if it hadn't been for fandom, I would never have bothered to start
I drew a bit when I was at school, but then I got rather lazy
And besides, the frustration of actually putting pictures down on paper drove me crazy
Things would begin okay, then I'd mess up and found it too frustrating
But being able to do it all digitally is immensely liberating
Photoshop and a Wacom tablet provide the creative potential
But it's the wondrous Undo button that's philosophically essential.
Gin's not my top drink, rather ironically
Red wine's my fave, but gin's better symbolically
Still I love gin quite deeply and love it platonically
But more than all that, I love it and-tonically.
May be worthy of deep thinking
Takes some beating.
Well, this is not really an interest of mine, it's more of a profession
But at least it's one of life's few pleasures not affected by the global recession
Add in the fact that it's non-fattening and entirely free of calories
And even though someone somewhere must be paying those actor types to do their stuff, I'm sure you'll agree that they're all well worth their salaries...
My amazing ability to predict insane plot twists
The reason for this fact, as you may already know,
Was that I guessed that Captain Jack would turn out to be the Face of Boe
So yes, I managed to guess one thing once, albeit it rather a dumb thing
But hey, if I keep stabbing wildly in the dark, surely I'm bound to hit something...
