Many thanks to Andrew for drawing my attention to these romantic TV movie posters, which fill the formerly gaping void in the universe where bodice-ripping ends and galactically disastrous Photoshopping begins.

Is this what they mean when they say that love hurts?

Why are none of the men wearing shirts, but all of the women are looking pissed off? Why, since these acting couples presumably made an entire movie together, did nobody both to take a picture of them in the same room at the same time and use that for the poster instead? What's with the purple flock wallpaper? And why are the titles relatively dull in comparison to the gobsmacking images?

Actually, scratch that last one. I've put my thinking cap on and come up with some NEW titles that are much more in keeping with the low-key classiness of the visuals. And here they are...

Much more in keeping with romance in the 21st century, wouldn't you say?
