Readers, I have been drinking. And I know it is not big, and not clever, but by gosh, it is fun, especially when you haven't done it for a while, and especially especially when the booze is accompanied by the wonder of world cuisine that is okonomi-yaki, which is a brilliant and startling thing (it's basically a classy Japanese version of a greasy-spoon fry-up). Anyway, I am filled with a GRATE LUV of humanity and feel the need to share it with everyone. Yay. Tomato ketchup, single malt and free love all round, that's what I say. It's not too much to ask from the universe, is it? IS IT???
Also, I wanted to mention that the funniest thing I've read today was a line in this review of a Yoko Ono concert, which read "The set is drawn mainly from 2001's Blueprint for a Sunrise, an album from which Mr Tune was largely absent". I cackled like a drain until tears poured down my cheeks. And I hasten to add that that was this morning, when I was sober.
